Home Businesses Take Ireland Out of Recession!

Category : Entrepreneurship

The future for the Irish economy is bright for those who grasp the opportunities presented by the new world that we’re all moving into, make no mistake about that.

Now is truly a time of incredible transition. Yes, the internet arrived over 10 years ago, and the first crash has already occurred, and while some prospered and some didn’t, the revolution has been pretty quiet.

It happened quietly to begin with. Initially, the change that it represented wasn’t compelling or necessary enough for many to take the leap of faith and immerse themselves in what is without question the single most age transforming development of our lifetimes, bar none.

The age that the we’re living through, and right now in particular can be compared to the industrial revolution. Everything is about to change forever.

We’re entering a new era where those who refuse to accept personal responsibility for determining the make up of their lives will perish. This shift has been happening gradually, over the last twenty plus years, however the following events have fast forwarded things big time, the credit crunch, failure of and challenges to many central banks, bankruptcy of small countries and the immediate realisation
that big companies don’t have the financial strength or certainty, nor the desire to look after you, no matter how good an employee you were. We know this.

I repeat, we must more than ever acknowledge that we are responsible for our financial destiny, as a part of our greater ultimate destiny. What this means is that we must seize the opportunity to create a prosperous and wealthy future that we can enjoy, and refuse to neglect this duty any longer, by abdicating this responsibility to “the boss”.

You are the boss. Ignore this at your peril. You’re the boss of you, your money, your finances, the role you play or don’t in your family, your relationships, everything.

Lets start at the beginning. So what has changed, and how can the internet help me? The model of the world that you were brought up to believe in is over. Go to school, study hard, get a good job and work hard, and when you retire you’ll have a nice pension, is no more. Its now do all of the above and then get made redundant, and by the way if you have a pension its probably worthless, because the stock market crashed, and we couldn’t afford to contribute as much as we should have. We all see daily evidence of this new reality.

The internet differs in that you set it up, either learn how to, or pay someone to. You learn a new skill, and this is essential because the internet, like every other facet of our lives (even though we pretend they don’t), is guaranteed to change.

You learn how the different pieces of the jigsaw fit together and by diligently figuring it out, either on your own, or with the help of others you will begin to make money. A little to start with, and then the amounts will increase. That’s just how it works.

Do yo want the master key – here it is, get started now.

The worlds finest experts on an Online Home Businesses, guys that have made multiple millions are coming to Ireland soon for one weekend only.

Mindset You Need For A Succesful Business

Category : Entrepreneurship

Finding first a hungry crowd to sell food to rather than making the food first is advice that many entrepreneurs do not get early enough. Indeed its nuances can even be evasive to a seasoned entrepreneur. This we can view as a technical error in an internet business start up. But it does have a antecedent. And this precursor is a state of mind. It’s the underlying reason you want to go into business, online or off.

Ask anyone why they want to go into business and the variety of answers can always be summed up as “to make lots of money”. Yet this falls among the weakest and poorest reasons you should really go into business. Weak because it carries with little if any drive to succeed and poor because it lacks the specificity required.

Right now there are over 8 billion web pages from millions of websites online. It’s widely believed that 98% of websites designed to make money do not make any money at all. And this does not include those that do not make a profit. Every day tens of thousands of domain names expire without renewal as websites go under. This has even grown a whole multi-million dollar industry called Domain Parking. Yet even more new domains in just as much time are registered, showing new entries into internet business. So what gives? Why are people that go online to make lots of money make none of it?

If you have been online for any appreciable time, some one will most likely have told you were the money is. The likes of Mike Filsaime teach “the money is in the list”, Joel Comm the Adsense guru teaches making money with Adsense, while Scott Boulch of the famed “The Death of Adsense” report is emphatic that “the money is in the money”. All create systems around these persuasions with astonishing results – until you try it yourself. They will tend to be ill-fitting and this is not because they do not work.

All this systems teach you how to get your visitors money. They are strong on how to sell your visitors. This may create a mindset that is inconsistent to the altruistic nature of business. Yes, I put it to you that for a business to be longeval and sustainable it needs to be essentially altruistic. The good book note in Proverbs 11:24 “One man gives freely, yet gain even more; another withholds unduly, but comes to poverty”; so much for primarily going into business to make lots of money.

Lately, I have been overly repetitive on the focus on the customer and creating value. Yet it is better to be redundant than to be remiss. Business is essentially not a game of wits. It’s not about how you can trick, arm twist or coerce money from your customer. It’s about creating something a customer wants and directing them to it. It is this mind set, this altitude that positions you to find a hungry crowd. You are not only going into the market place to take, but also to give. It is true that many people have no business being in business. Indeed, if you are yet to find something valuable to offer online, find one first.

Increase Consumer Confidence with Joint Venture Marketing

Category : Partnerships

Forming a joint venture marketing partnership can be an effective way to expand your business and gain new clients as it has a psychological component that works particularly well to instill consumer confidence, which will ultimately lead to loyal customers and increased sales.

Tapping Into Consumer Psychology

Psychology plays an integral role in all business marketing. Studies have proven time and time again that people will buy just about anything, as long as it is well marketed and effectively advertised and that consumers are prone to purchasing items they don’t really need or often cannot afford. Inspiring people to make such purchases is marketing genius and can be enhanced through a joint venture marketing partnership.

Consumer confidence is one of the largest determining factors in purchases they make, and psychology is one of the largest determiners of consumer confidence. Thus, understanding the role psychology plays in marketing can help boost the confidence of consumers who purchase your products and services, leading to increased business.

Using Joint Venture Marketing to Increase Consumer Confidence

Forming a joint venture marketing partnership is one way your company can reach customers on a psychological level, increase their confidence, and form a tight community of loyal clients. Keep in mind, people like to feel significant, needed, and important, so if a customer feels his business is truly important to you, this will inspire his confidence to purchase from your company. If you reinforce this feeling of importance, you create a snowball effect, where the more important a customer feels he is, the more confidence he will have for your business. This increased customer confidence of course translates to increased sales for your company. Understanding this psychological mechanism of the business/client relationship will put you on track to forming strong and long lasting relationships with your customers.

Joint Venture Marketing Taps Into Buying Psychology

Forming a joint venture marketing partnership influences consumer buying psychology for in many ways. Here are a couple of examples:

- Working with other companies and sharing ideas about how each of you handles customer service and consumer confidence will create new and exciting ways to reach a previously untapped consumer base, benefiting both companies involved in the joint venture.

- When your joint venture partner gains some of your clients and vice versa, you create a community of clients that you both share. These customers are now part of an elite group of clients that you and your joint venture partner can target and market to in ways that you couldn’t when they only belonged to one of you.

Both of these points are important to understand when tapping into the psychological nature of human beings if you are to be successful at utilizing this knowledge to improve your company’s sales. You can use this understanding to your advantage. Don’t regard it as manipulation, but simply smart business psychology. These psychological influences are at work all around us in everyday life. Human beings are naturally wired this way, and understanding this is not the same as manipulation.

A joint venture marketing partnership that focuses on consumer psychology makes targeted suggestions based on buying habits and behavior, which is a win-win situation: it makes the consumer feel understood, and it has to potential to increase your business!

Why Even “Minor” Systems Are Crucial To Business Success

Category : Entrepreneurship

You’ve probably heard these two, seemingly contradictory sayings: “God is in the details” and the “Devil is in the details.” Guess what – both are right! You see, it’s the details – the little things – that often make all the difference. This is especially the case for businesses. It’s those “minor” details that all add up to create a either a positive or negative customer experience… a quality or inferior product… and a successful or failing business. What this means is that getting the minor details right – by systemizing them – is crucial to business success… so that God (not the Devil) ends up in the details!

In order to understand what impacts on business performance, it’s necessary to understand how each component of a given business fits together. What processes deliver which outcomes… and what outcomes affect which processes… and so on.

The best way to gain an understanding of how each part of a business interrelates with another is to prepare a Cashmap – a process map which documents a particular process or system. Then, by viewing the organization in terms of its inherent hierarchical nature, you can decompose top-level organizational objectives to lower levels of the business system (both process decomposition and organizational structure). The upshot is that both the “minor” and the “major” systems will be aligned and the company will be able to achieve better overall results.

To explain how this works in practice, consider a coffee shop. A “major” system might relate to the coffee shop’s marketing strategy, or how it hires staff, or the environment of the shop. A “minor” system might be the temperature of the coffee served to each customer. You can probably see already how a minor system like consistently ensuring an optimal coffee temperature may have a major impact on the success of the business.

Customers won’t return to the coffee shop if they can’t be certain that their coffee will be hot – but not too hot – each time they visit. But this minor system doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Among other things, it’s impacted by such other systems as:

1. The hiring of staff (you want to hire people who care about customer service and making a superb cup of coffee);

2. The coffee machine(s) used to make the coffee; and

3. The marketing strategies designed to attract and raise certain expectations among customers about the quality of the coffee served in the shop.

So, in order to ensure that the coffee temperature is just right, it’s not just a matter of heating the water to boiling point. There are a range of other, equally important systems that will all contribute to whether or not the coffee ends up at a temperature that consistently attracts and retains customers.

So… what seemingly minor or major systems are crucial to your business success?

By preparing a Cashmap you’ll gain a powerful understanding of how the systems of your business interact and affect each other. You’ll then be able to see how, in order to achieve the specific outcomes you want (whether it’s coffee at a certain temperature, or whatever result applies in your business!) you’ll need to align a number of interrelated systems.

Joint Venture Marketing – Creating a Loyal and Profitable Community

Category : Partnerships

The current economic downfall has had a huge impact on Internet business, and many small companies are struggling to survive. Consumers are spending less and less money on non-essential items. If your business specializes in luxury goods or services not vital to everyday survival, you may find yourself in a difficult position.

To maintain, or in some cases even save your business during these difficult economic times it may be necessary to get creative with your marketing strategy. A joint venture marketing partnership may be just the thing you need to explore to keep your business humming along.

Creating a Loyal Community for Your Business

Marketing’s primary focus is creating client relationships. In a time when people are feeling stressed and disconnected as a result of current economic turmoil, holding onto your customer relationships, and building new ones is more important than ever. It is possible to maintain your customers and gain new ones during a challenging economic time, but this will involve creating a sense of community among your customers, as well other businesses with whom you work. A joint venture marketing partnership can help you achieve this, even if you don’t get the immediate results. At the very least, you will lay a foundation for future customers and preserve your current and loyal customer base.

Consistent customers are the bread and butter of any business. The customers you count on to make regular purchases, even if they’re small, add a measure of stability to your business. All companies dream of the “big sale”, but these are often few and far between. So, it’s the smaller steady purchases that will keep your business going in a world currently plagued by financial woes

The Power of Joint Venture Marketing

The benefits of a joint venture marketing partnership are twofold. First you create a new community of business partners which function to strengthen your existing customer base. And second, it enables you to reach new customers in varied and creative ways you otherwise wouldn’t have access to.

When your joint venture marketing partner makes contact with one of your regular customers, it is crucial for him to know that you referred your partner. This equals an endorsement from your company as to the status and importance your partner plays in the function of your business. It is a thoughtful and personal way to reach out to some of your most treasured clients. To do this successfully, you may not want your joint venture partner to approach every single one of your customers. That would feel inauthentic.

To truly build the feeling of a community with your customers, they need to know that they are getting personalized attention, thoughtful consideration regarding their purchases and that you are taking into consideration what other products they may be interested in. Likewise, through your joint venture you are endorsed to your partner’s customers, who will in turn perceive that your company offers a community of services and products that are geared towards their interests.

Taking the time to create a feeling of community with your customers, as well as your new joint venture marketing partners, will help your business successfully sail through these difficult economic waters.

An idea gaining popularity is to lease it out for a period after which it can either be owned or returned to you. Returning after the lease period allows them to get a latest product or model with new technology. Similarly, an advantage of owning it after the lease period is that these construction companies can distribute payment over the lease period. Generally, when you deal with heavy equipment you would be handling equipment like forklifts, bulldozers, backhoes, and other digging equipment required by construction companies. Getting Cash From the Top 20% Paid Surveys

Category : Entrepreneurship

Finding the paid survey sites is both easy and difficult to do. While you can certainly do a search for “paid surveys” or “online surveys” through Google or another search engine, the results you get back may not always be as helpful as you would hope. It’s likely that many of the results you get back are membership sites that require a payment to join. Otherwise, you need to go through hundreds of results to find all the good paid survey sites that you should be joining to be successful as a survey taker. While this works, it is a long and time consuming process.

In all honesty, the membership sites in most cases have done a very good job finding the relevant survey sites for you and they are worth considering if you want to get a fast start in getting paid to take surveys. If possible you may even find a free paid survey directory although these are getting harder and harder to locate.

Whether you decide to pay for membership to a survey directory or try to find a free survey directory or even take the time to locate all of the good survey sites yourself one thing is always going to be true. The majority of your earnings in paid surveys will come from a small set of the total survey companies. This has also been called the 80/20 rule which means that 80% of your survey earnings will come from just 20% of the survey companies you join.

While you might now wonder if you should avoid joining all the survey companies you can find I suggest you still register for all of them because you never know which are the 20% that are going to pay YOU. Different people will have different results with each company simply because each company is often looking for people with a different profile. Young people may do good with company A while older married folks will do best with company B and so on. You never know for sure which survey site will be best for you, so you need to join them all and find out for yourself.

To have the best chance to make money with paid surveys try to find a survey directory, free or paid, that will give you links to hundreds of paid survey sites you can register with. If this means you need to pay $30 to access a quality database of survey sites then so be it. You’re likely to make that money back within the first few days anyway as long as you take action after joining.

Paid surveys can be a great way to make some extra money, especially for those with lots of free times. If you could use some extra cash then I think it’s time you looked into paid surveys for making money online.

Learn more about making money from paid surveys and why YOU should start taking paid surveys if you need extra cash by visiting the authors website.

Four Things You Must do to Have Success in Difficult Times

Category : Entrepreneurship

Success means different things to different people: for some it is building wealth; for some it is successful relationships; for some it is creativity and independence; and, for others it some form of leadership.

Whatever constitutes your definition of success, you will find some common principles that are needed to make it achievable. Consider the following four actions. Notice that they are called actions. Some would call them attitudes, but attitudes are birthed out of actions that you willingly embrace over time.

Action # 1: Embrace New Information

Successful people embrace new information. Leaders are usually not content to stay as they are or leave things around them as they are. It has been noted that even if you are on the right track you will get run over if you just sit there. Success demands change, especially in a constantly changing world such as we live in.

The problem for many people is they listen to wrong information. To be successful requires getting new information from people you already have the kind of success you want. If you want to be healthy, learn from people who have taken charge of their own health. If you want a successful business, learn from those who have built a successful business themselves. If you want a larger network, learn from those who are good at networking.

If the old information got you where you are now and you are not satisfied, then it only makes sense that it will take new information to give you new results.

Action # 2: Develop Long Term Vision

Imagine setting sail on the ocean and only looking at the breakers on the shore. If you fail toset your sights on the distant horizon, you will never get there.

However the vision needs to be specific and sequential. Not just vague mental pictures of riches at the end of a rainbow. Rather, a smart vision, that sees the end result and back-fills to where you are now so that you understand the steps it will take to get there.

You need a dream but that is not enough. It needs to be a dream that is turned into action steps. When we understand that it is a process, even our subconscious will go to work for us to figure out how to make it happen.

Envisioning a new future is a growth process. The vision process teaches who to learn from as we define it. The vision is more than a vague future, it is a vision of the things we need to do to get there.

Action # 3: Delay Gratification

The vision should burn within you. It should create the passion that drives you to pay the price to give up the safety of the shore for the undiscovered possibility of the ocean. The more you have grown in putting the vision into practice, the more real it becomes to you.

You find yourself willing to give up the false reality of a TV program, to get lost in learning how to realize your vision. You will find yourself willing to delay doing what is fun, to do what is necessary.

Delayed gratification is an important component of emotional intelligence. It is something you can learn, if your vision is strong enough.

Action # 4: Make it Duplicatable

The most successful people in life are those who turned their vision into systems that allowed actions and results to be replicated. Thomas Edison did nott make his money from the light bulb he invented in his lab or the electricity he generated there. It had to be duplicated. When running electricity from house to house became a system, when a light bulb could burn in the living rooms of other people. Then and only then did Edison reap the rewards.

To succeed in business: you have to have a product you can sell over and over; you have to have a system you can implement over and over; you have to have information (training) than you can pass on from person to person.

When you duplicate, you lay the perfect groundwork for your success. It may be a home based business, a volunteer role of leadership, or some other entreprenurial endeavor. It may be local, national, or international. These four actions will help you succeed.

In Business, Now More Than Ever, It Is Survival Of The Prepared

Category : Entrepreneurship

Who knew? Who saw all of this coming? Not very many and quite a few depending on whom you listen to and what day of the week you hear it!

One thing always remains constant in small business: you need to generate revenue greater than your expenses to remain in business.

Elementary you say? Not quite.

When times tighten –for whatever the reason(s) — the Classic Truth of Small Business Success comes to the surface: businesses that identify an unmet or underserviced need of a specific reachable target market large enough to sustain revenues over the long haul and who serve that precise market better than their competitors will do well in good times and survive in bad.

Whether the economic climate is tough or not, the small business owner who has identified precisely who they are and what they sell; who their target market is, where they live and how they can be reached cost-effectively; and then markets accordingly improves their chances of survival in almost any economic conditions.

Marketing is the key to not only growth but survival when the economy gets the hiccups or turns sour. Those who have properly prepared can actually improve their business at the same time their competitors are frozen in the headlights.

This particular economic storm — sparked by bad housing loans, investment-bank collapses and stock market schizophrenia — means small businesses will need to adjust pricing, marketing strategies and cash flow assumptions. How do these kinds of things actually happen in real businesses on real Main Streets?

*A restaurant might need to drop the $32 steak –This place is expensive!– and concentrate on building a truly to-die-for hamburger at $8.50. Wow, that burger was the best I have ever eaten! People still want to eat out, but cannot afford the high end items right now. Adjust to the reality of the times!

*Retail businesses might run smaller ads daily in place of one large splashy advertisement once or twice a month. These smaller space ads might feature limited quantities of desired items -NOT stuff you are stuck with! Only ten to sell at this unheard of price. Advertise a different item each day. Limit quantities on wanted items and boost traffic at the same time.

* Speaking of stuff you are stuck with, what a great time to face up to reality and move this junk out! Do NOT try to fool anyone. The market spoke to you long ago and you chose not to listen. Mark it down and get it out of your hair and your inventory. Make someone happy. Turn dogs into cash.

* Do good deeds for your customers. When people are struggling, they never forget even the smallest gesture. When business is flourishing customers may often overlook the nice things you do for them.

Recessions are opportunities to nurture long lasting business relationships. The reverse is also true. Treat a customer badly in tough times and they will drop kick you out of their life the first chance they get.

* Never compromise on the quality of your products or your services. Whatever happens, no matter how hard it is, even if it means not making a profit, deliver a consistent, quality product or experience to your customers every time.

That philosophy will pay dividends in the long run. The last thing anyone remembers about any transaction is the price they paid.

The prepared business has three vital concepts indentified:

1. What is unique and special about their business as compared to their competitors

2. Exactly who their target market is, where and how they live and how to reach them

3. What their own precise positioning statement is and how to convey it to customers, employees and anyone else who is paying attention.

Work at Home Scams: The 3 Best Scams

Category : Entrepreneurship

More than a million people are victims of work at home scams each year. Some, I’m sorry to say, had it coming. They went in with their hearts instead of their heads. Others however couldn’t have dodged the bullet even if they tried the work at home scam was just too sophisticated for the average searcher.

These days con artists don’t just create work at home scams, they create systems that will damage the lives of their victims long after they have pulled out of the scam. Below are some ways con artists take advantage of you.

1. The “send in your resume” scam. This is a difficult scam to detect because it appears to be legitimate. After all, the company is asking for prospects to email them a resume and cover letter. This is something all legit companies do. However, it’s your email address they want.

Once you email them with your resume or to ask for more information, they will attach a malware to their email. This allows the con artist to gain free access of the job seekers computer including passwords and personal email.

Because many people who work online have PayPal accounts hackers can gain access into these accounts and drain them. They also gain access of the victims address book, thus sending the scam to their friends and family or in sever cases death threats.

Another clever tactic used in this “send in your resume” scam is to ask for a lot of personal information such as full name, address, sex, telephone-cell-fax, bank account number, copy of Driver’s License or Passport, and occasionally a Social Security Number.

Once the con artist has obtained this information it is sold to an identity theft ring.

2. The “I love you scam.” This scam doesn’t start out as a work at home scam but is designed as such. It starts with someone, usually in a singles chat room, approaching you to chat. These con artists form bonds with their victims and deceive them into thinking that they love them.

They then pitch a home business idea or tell them that are in are already in business and need their help. Because the victim feels as though they are in love they can’t or don’t say no.

The con artist then requests money to for the business or the victim is made into third party receiver of funds or packages. The packages are always stolen or were bought with fake credit cards. Because the victim “loves” the con artist they continue to send money or packages without questioning why they’re not seeing a dime.

In the case of receiving funds, their bank accounts are drained. Victims are always left heavily in dept and because you are handling stolen goods this scam can get you prospected.

New age work at home scams are far more sophisticated than purchasing a box of junk. They leave heavily the victim in dept; destroy their credit rating as well as your reputation. Fortunately there are more resources today for victims of work at home scams.

1. Taking Surveys and paid to complete offers. Consumers have always been at the forefront of influencing business decisions.

With the internet it is now easier to get peoples opinions and companies are willing to pay you to take surveys regarding their product or even pay you to test out a new product or service. For ordinary individuals, problems are considered obstacles but for many entrepreneurs, these are challenges. Aside from being a positive thinker, you must a have strong belief in your objectives. Ireland Millionaire Indicators – Are They Turned On?

Category : Growth Topics

In my capacity as an Event Promoter, I have associated with a large number of extremely wealthy and successful people, and although I’ve read pretty much every wealth and success book on the market, no one has yet conveyed just how basic the process of becoming wealthy for life really is.

To a man (woman) the principles that I have noted are the same!

Its not what you believe, its not what you want, its not the things that you say to yourself, its what you do. In a word, its your BEHAVIOUR!

What will other people observing your behaviour say about you, “Well Gary, talks about becoming wealthy and successful, but he never gets his ass out of bed before 11 o’ clock.”

Or, if you desire to be a top athlete – “Steven has bought every exercise and fitness magazine in the shop, but he loves “the chipper.”

Or more ideally, “no matter how much cr@p is going on, the guy is able to focus on what he wants, and works on getting it.”

When we shine the brutal torch of common sense on our actions its only too obvious what the outcome is going to be.

Consider this – you’re driving your car and you come to T junction. Its 8.45 in the morning, and you’re trying to make your way into heavy traffic to your left. There are two things that you could do.

One, you could sit back with your foot on the brake and hope that someone will guess that you want to move into the flow of traffic today, and decide that you’re their good deed for the day, and let you in. Is this likely to happen quickly or ever? Is your life like this?

Or, alternatively you can turn on your indicator to show everyone where you’re going, seek to make eye contact with someone who may be able to let you in, and continue to edge forward until someone does in fact “choose” (because its obvious that you know what you want) to do the right thing and let you in.

Contrary to what many believe, people want to and enjoy helping each other, this applies to making money, getting the job or succeeding in whatever undertaking it is that you choose. However, they are much more likely to give you a worthwhile break or opportunity when you demonstrate that you know what you want and are determined to get it.

And just how do you demonstrate this?

By your behaviour of course, if you think about it, its the only way that people can really come to a conclusion about you, what you want or what it is that you’re about.

Some of the obvious behaviours that we have noted in people that are successful include

- the ability to make a decision and follow it through until they get their result,

- the ability to keep moving forward (no matter how slowly) in the face of strong opposition,

- the capacity to overcome obstacles – under, over around or through, and

- the desire to constantly learn more about their world, and the new or existing methods that they can utilise to more successfully adapt to what is unquestionably a fastly changing world.

A recurring word in this article has been the word “obvious.”

Joint Venture Marketing: Valuing Your Customers

Category : Partnerships

Customer service is an integral part of any business plan. Finding new ways to show your customers you value their business will help you gain their loyalty and get ahead. Part of courting new customers is providing excellent service: listening to their wants and needs and going out of your way to address them. An added piece of providing excellent customer service, one in which a joint venture marketing partnership can assist you, is making your customers feel valued.

Making your customers feel important and appreciated can help set your business apart from others and gives you a leading edge. Unless you operate a very exclusive niche business, it is likely that there are several, if not many, businesses that provide the same products and services that you do. If this is the case, one important way to distinguish yourself among your competitors is how you treat your customers. Of course, providing superior customer service is important, but to really excel, you must take your customer service strategy a step further by making your customers feel valued.

It is a known psychological fact that people like to feel important and that they can make a difference. Many customers feel that they are just a number, one in a faceless, nameless mass. Even if they like your products and services, they may not feel that your company values their business. Because there are many successful businesses that offer similar products and services, what may inspire a customer to give you consistent business is their relationship with your company and how your company makes them feel.

Joint Venture Marketing Partnerships: A Pool of Resources

When you join forces with other businesses to form a joint venture marketing partnership, you are collectively pooling resources to positively influence both of your companies. This often starts with customer service and how customer relationships are handled. You may feel that your customer relations platform is successful, but to continue to succeed and excel in business, you need to think of ways to constantly change and renew your approaches. A joint venture marketing platform is a helpful way to achieve these goals.

Even if you are satisfied with your customer service plan and you get high scores from your customers and have a loyal following, a joint venture marketing partnership can still give you an advantage. Your joint venture partners may have new ideas on how to demonstrate your appreciation to your customers and how to illustrate that you truly value them.

Even if this is something you feel confident you are already doing, chances are there is room for improvement or a slight change to your current platform. The advertising structure of a joint venture marketing partnership also naturally lends itself to increasing the attention you normally give your customers. If your customers associate your joint venture marketing partners with you, and end up doing business with both you and one or more of your partners, that exponentially increases the opportunities you have to make your customers feel important and valued.

Psychology of Joint Venture Marketing

Category : Partnerships

Psychology plays an important role in most consumer purchases, and the psychological effect of a joint venture marketing platform is no exception to this rule. Psychology is at play subconsciously in so many areas of our lives. Have you ever noticed how most supermarkets are organized in the same way? There is a floor plan for how to run a successful supermarket, down to the optimal lighting and the temperature at which the supermarket should be kept to maximize consumer purchases.

When you are in a supermarket, and looking for a specific product, it may seem that products are organized somewhat haphazardly, but this is not the case. Products are organized to inspire you to purchase items that you did not intend on purchasing when entering the store. The last minute checkout line purchases are the best example of this: how many of us have picked up a magazine, gift card, candy bar or pack of gum we didn’t really need, simply because we were standing in line and those products were there. This is consumer psychology at work at its best.

Consumer Psychology at Work in Joint Venture Marketing

You may be thinking, that makes sense, it sounds easy enough to capitalize on consumer psychology when you have customers walking through the door, but I have an online business, not the same thing at all! True, with your online business, you don’t have the benefit of customers walking through your doors, but you have something that when used to your advantage can be even better: you can go to your customers, reach them at home or on the road via emails – increasing access to your clients to a point where you don’t have to wait for them to come to you!

America was built on creating opportunities, and most Americans appreciate businesses that take initiative and create opportunities: it is the American way. But there is a fine line between creating opportunities and being invasive to your clients. Americans are also busier than ever in their lives, so bombarding them with countless emails and solicitations that convey the same message will most likely serve to alienate potential clients, rather than gain them. These are aspects of psychology of which it is important to be aware when running your online business.

Creating “Friendly” Marketing

A joint venture marketing partnership can help bridge the gap between effective marketing and invasive marketing, helping you gain the right balance to assertively attract new customers without being overbearing.

With a joint venture marketing partnership, you can piggyback with your partners on marketing tactics, such as customer email alerts and newsletters. With the joint forces of your marketing partnerships behind you, you can capitalize on the principles of consumer psychology and reach multiple customers on various levels without making them feel overwhelmed. If for instance, a certain customer buys from both you and one of your joint venture partners, you can attach advertisements or reminders to a “thank you for your purchase email” and remind your clients of your appreciation for their business without being invasive by sending unnecessary correspondence.
